I have a great sense of pride in what we do at Oglethorpe Power. Generating electricity for much of the state of Georgia is a great responsibility, and it’s one we take very seriously. I am amazed at the ability of our employees to confidently manage and control the challenges associated with our jobs.

I enjoy my job because I work with a group of colleagues that truly exemplifies the “team” concept. We work hard, and we have a lot of fun along the way. When people come to Oglethorpe Power, they plant roots and their colleagues become their friends and family.

I first began working at Oglethorpe Power 9 years ago, and I love going to work every day. I am grateful to be surrounded by kind, professional, and knowledgeable people who challenge and inspire me to deliver my best and support me with the tools and training I need to be successful.

I am part of what keeps the lights on for approximately 4.1 million Georgians each day, and what’s even better is that I get to do it alongside a team of the industry’s best and brightest professionals.
