WHO WE ARE
With more than $16 billion in assets, we’re among the nation’s largest power supply cooperatives and one of the primary energy producers in Georgia, generating power for 38 electric membership corporations (EMCs) and the approximate 4.5 million people they serve.
HOW WE OPERATE
We’re a cooperative that operates on a not-for-profit basis, part of the electric cooperative model in Georgia and owned by the 38 EMCs we serve, instead of individual shareholders.
WHERE POWER ORIGINATES
To ensure electric service remains affordable and reliable, we maintain a diverse generation portfolio of nuclear, natural gas, pumped-storage hydro and coal resources.
