As Georgia’s electricity demands continue to increase, so do the wholesale power supply needs of the EMCs we serve. To help meet that rising demand, we have received approval to construct two new natural gas projects in Georgia.
EMISSION-FREE NUCLEAR ENERGY
On behalf of the EMCs we serve, Oglethorpe Power is a proud co-owner of Plant Vogtle, the largest generator of clean energy in the United States.
RENEWABLE ENERGY
We partner with Green Power EMC, a not-for-profit cooperative that secures renewable energy resources from across Georgia including solar, landfill gas, hydro, wood waste and wind.
